“Doom nominated for the best rolled L’s, and they wonder how he dealt with stress so well.”
-MF Doom (America’s Most Blunted)Rolling Philosophy
Rolling a spliff/blunt to me is an art form in itself. The design and engineering of a spliff can be enhanced simply by how it is rolled. I don’t roll blunts that often anymore so I been rolling spliffs. Sometimes you don’t have time to chill on a blunt. There are often misconceptions on spliffs. People complain that they burn fast. They burn fast because you don’t probably rolled a booger. A booger is when the weed in your joint/blunt is not tightly packed and the nuggets fall out when you hit it. The key points in rolling in my opinion are the exhaust flow, compactness of the weed, and the amount of paper used. A friend of mine showed me the meaning of less paper when it comes to rolling. The more paper, the less you’re going to get out of the weed. I’d rather spend 10 minutes rolling a perfect j than spending a minute rolling a booger. Once you take in the key points to rolling, the smoke is most enjoyable. Everyone has their own personal preference on how they would want to intake their smoke. I don’t like hard hitting cannon type blunts/joints. The way I roll makes the smoke cool down a bit with the way I do my filters, and provides a mellow intake that doesn’t overwhelm the smoker. Everytime I roll, I keep in mind that I want to enjoy my ganja, not cough it up. Peace.
